Our day at the farm

We spent the day today at Hidden Villa, an amazing farm + zoo nearby. We took a tour of the farm, pulled beets out of the ground and ate them (yum!), tried fresh sage, ate edible and very lemony-tasting leaves and flowers, and then got to visit and meet and pet all the animals. Amisha was totally freaked out by all of the animals, although she was very excited to say "bye" to each and every one, and Ananya enjoyed asking the tour guide a million questions about the animals.

Easter egg hunt

We went to an Easter egg hunt yesterday and Amisha was really only
interested in the Easter stickers she got!

Hidden Villa part 2

Day at the farm

We spend a wonderful day at Hidden Villa with a tour of their organic
farm, dug up beets, ate fresh sage, and visited sheep, cows, huge
pigs, goats, and fed chickens!

Amisha pulled out the box of Cheerios, sat down, opened the box, and
started eating cereal! And then I caught her looking very guilty :)

Tallest tower ever!

New bike

For Amisha's birthday, my mom took Ananya to Toys R Us (a shop that I
have never taken her to and that my mom has already taken her twice!)
and bought a bike for the birthday girl and one for the "best big
sister in the whole wife world." Still not sure why Ananya lucked out!

Amit and Pooneet built the bike at night and Ananya was absolutely
thrilled to see it the next morning.

Meanwhile, Amisha's bike is still in the box!

The return of Avva

My mom went to India for 5 weeks and we were so happy when she came
back this week! Here's mom and Amisha celebrating her return with
bindhis on their noses (Amisha always puts a bindhi or sticker on her
nose first).

Morning bedtime fun

Ananya and Amisha LOVE playing in Ananya's bed. They jump, they sing, they snuggle - which is exactly what they did this morning during FaceTime with my mom and my Avva in Bangalore. Here's a snippet of their morning fun:

Amisha was very busy this morning, packing her suitcase and wearing her shades!

Bouncy house fun

On Saturday, we took the girls to two birthday parties - where they bounced in bouncy houses to their hearts delight, ate pizza and cake for lunch and for dinner, and took the best naps between the two parties (as did their parents)!

We took the girls to the park the other day and they had so much fun on the slides...sometimes sliding down, and sometimes walking up the slides!

Friday fun

Pooneet and I attended a wedding in SF yesterday...so fun to dress up,
see friends, and eat some yummy treats!
