I Can Sit!

Ananya can sit on her own (though prefers to stand and jump!) and today she modelled the clothes that Stacey Aunty made for her.

Daddy's 1st birthday as a Daddy

We celebrated Pooneet's birthday a few weeks ago...Ananya discovered her reflection in the mirror that morning and then we had some of our friends over for dinner at night. Pooneet seemed pretty excited about his ice cream birthday cake (thanks Jean!) and his Snuggie, which for those of you who haven't seen the infomercial, is a blanket with sleeves :)

Daddy's Kellogg Reunion

Ananya (and her Mommy) joined Daddy and his Kellogg friends on a trip to Tahoe over MLK weekend. Ananya, having already been to Tahoe a few weeks earlier, loved being back in her Tahoe house and had so much fun playing with her uncles and aunties. Since there were no other kids on this trip, Ananya had everyone's undivided attention, which of course she loved!

Ananya has been so lucky to see so many of her relatives. Her Venkappa Thatha, Ashok Thatha, and BabyAvva came all the way from India just to see her! And she was so excited to meet her Kittu Thatha, who came from New Jersey to celebrate Ananya's Thatha's 60th birthday.
