Cheese, please!

Ananya loved her first taste of cheese

South Bay day

We spent last Saturday visiting Ananya's cousins Aayush and Vunshika, meeting up with Ananya's favorite Connor, and then headed down to Cupertino for a family friend's engagement party. It was quite an action-packed day, but so fun to spend time with family and friends!

Here's a video of Ananya and Connor making the moves on each other :)

Ananya's First Crawl!

Big day in the Goel household...Ananya crawled fully for the first time and we were actually able to catch it all on video. It's not the most elegant of crawls but you can be the judge...Enjoy!

Dadi's lunch

Ananya's Dadi hosted a huge lunch for her close friends, and Ananya and I joined in on the fun! Ananya wore a new lengha, got to spend quality time with her Dadu and Dadi, had so much fun with her aunts and cousins, and enjoyed the warm weather. What a fun way to spend the day!

9 months old

It's amazing how quickly time is flying with Ananya! She turned 9 months last week and can do so many fun tricks! She sits with ease, is starting to think about crawling, loves to jump and stand, screams with delight, eats a huge variety of food, loves her swimming lessons and has started kicking and splashing up a storm, and just got a set of new toys and a highchair. She's slowly but surely turning into a big girl!

Kiddie fun!

Ananya got to spend the afternoon playing with her cousins, Anjali and Ajay, and had so much fun playing with Anjali's nose and Ajay's toys! The next day, Zayan came to visit and gave her a sweet kiss on the cheek when he left :) I think Pooneet is already worried about Ananya and boys!

And then I couldn't resist taking a picture of her one day when her hair was sticking straight up :)

Bahama Baby

We took a family trip with Pooneet's parents to the Bahamas for a week in February. It was Ananya's first international trip and I'm sure her passport will be put to good use in the future.

Ananya had a wonderful time - nonstop playing with her Dadu and Dadi, putting her feet in the sand and in the ocean (the water was too cold for her to swim), and she can't wait for her next trip! She loved looking at the ocean and hearing the waves, she saw a horse for the first time (which scared her!), took the wheel of the golf cart, and saw her first Junkanoo (Carnival on the islands).
