Preparing for the feast

Ananya is so excited to celebrate Thanksgiving and help prepare! Every
day this week she goes to my parents house to help them set up. All
she can talk about is "Aadvik Aadvik Aadvik." I think we've created a
holiday monster!

Kindergarten feast

I spent the day at Ananya's kindergarten class helping the kids with
their Thanksgiving feast. It was fun and exhausting and reminded me of
how difficult teaching is!

The kids made costumes, corn husk dolls, cards, and baked cornbread
and sugar cookies. Fun!

Savannah!

We spent the weekend in Savannah, GA celebrating Manish and Lisa's
beautiful wedding! It was such a lovely getaway, fun seeing old
friends, and two beautiful weddings. Thanks to both sets of
grandparents for babysitting this weekend!!

Halloween

We had a fun Halloween this year! Baby Rishaan celebrated his first
Halloween with us, Ananya dressed up as Cinderella, Amisha was a
leopard, Pooneet's parents and mine both came over to see the girls
and go trick-or-treating, and the girls got so much candy!
